In this body of work, the artist reexamines the idea of perceived perfection by creating tension between gestural abstraction and rigorous minimalism. The geometric form with radius corners evokes the floral and the feminine, and the subtle gradation distorts the viewer's perception of depth. While remaining rooted in the Light and Space movement, the work also reflects the essence of humanity - beautiful because of its scars and imperfections.
